Organisational culture & workplace consultancy

Healthier workplace cultures. Stronger teams. Better outcomes.

Yew Thrive helps organisations understand what is getting in the way of their people, and build healthier, more human cultures and stronger teams — improving performance by helping people thrive at work.

Led personally by Louise Pramas MA, FCIPD, ILM7 — more than 18 years in senior NHS leadership, now working with organisations across the South East, London and beyond.

Does this sound familiar?

When something at work is not working, people usually feel it first.

Long before it appears in a report, people notice it in the meetings that go quiet, the conversations that get avoided and the goodwill that slowly runs out.

Good people keep leaving, and replacing them is expensive.

Teams that used to work well together have stopped communicating.

Conflict is quietly consuming leadership and HR time.

A significant change is not landing the way it was meant to.

Engagement survey results are worse than anyone expected.

Leadership behaviours feel inconsistent from team to team.

Cliques are getting in the way, or parts of the workforce feel excluded.

The organisation is struggling to grow, innovate and adapt.

Customer, patient or service quality is slipping.

Previous culture initiatives have not created lasting change.

These problems rarely exist in isolation. Turnover, conflict, disengagement and stalled change are usually symptoms of the same thing: the everyday behaviours, relationships, systems and conversations that make up a culture. That is why fixing one symptom at a time so often fails — and why the work starts with understanding what is really happening.

The Yew Thrive approach

Change works better when people are part of it.

The best change is done with people, not to them.

Culture change does not happen through reports alone. It happens when people are involved, heard and supported to take ownership of what needs to be different.

Yew Thrive works with people, not on people. Louise is an enabler, facilitator and expert partner rather than an outsider who arrives to fix things. Together you identify what needs to change and build the internal, sustainable capability to move forward.

Compassionate workplaces still need honest conversations, accountability and challenge. Creating space to pause and reflect is not the opposite of rigour — it is what makes rigour possible.

The aim is to leave people, teams and organisations stronger, clearer and more confident than before — with capability that stays after the work ends.

Who you will work with

Experience you can trust. An approach that feels human.

Yew Thrive is led personally by Louise Pramas MA, FCIPD, ILM7. Clients work directly with Louise — there is no team of associates behind the scenes.

Why Yew Thrive?

Growth that renews itself.

Yew Thrive began beneath an ancient yew tree at Kingley Vale, near Chichester. As yew trees grow older and heavier, their branches reach down and touch the ground — and where they touch, new trees rise. Generation after generation, around the original tree.

It is a useful picture of the kind of change that lasts: adaptive, connected and able to renew itself without constant outside help. And there is a play on words in there too. Yew Thrive is ultimately about you thriving — in your work, your leadership, your team and your future.
